Melina Dominguez
Hi, I’m Melina Dominguez. I have over 10 years of experience in the medical field, working in roles such as Medical Assistant, Care Coordinator, and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). I’ve gained hands-on experience in specialties including Rheumatology, Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, and kidney disease. In addition, I have personal caregiver experience supporting a family member with activities of daily living (ADLs) and appointment management. That role taught me a great deal about patience, self-reflection, and the importance of slowing down in life. It also strengthened my passion for empowering others through a positive attitude and ongoing learning. Currently, I serve as a Case Manager in Enhanced Care Management (ECM), where I focus on supporting patients with complex medical and social needs.
My mission is to provide quality care through early prevention, continuity of care, and patient advocacy—helping individuals navigate the healthcare system and connect with vital community resources. I am recognized for being compassionate as I genuinely care for my patients, building strong relationships and offering support during their most difficult times. An Effective Communicator, I excel at bridging gaps between patients, providers, and community resources. A Problem Solver, I approach complex situations and emergencies by analyzing available information and making quick, informed decisions. In 2023, I earned my associate’s degree from Moreno Valley College and am continuing my studies to pursue a career in Nursing. Outside of work, I enjoy training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as a blue belt competitor, relaxing at the beach, exploring new coffee spots, and—most importantly—spending time with my 12-year-old son.
